Our Story
Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Zwiefel and I am the face behind Lakeview Dachshunds. We are located in Clarion, Iowa. I have had dogs for my entire life and have owned Dachshunds for the past 10 years. While showing horses has been a major part of my life since I was 10, I began to have an interest in showing dogs in 2016 when I got a potential show dog. She ended up deciding that being a couch potato was more of the life for her and life got in the way of pursuing it any further for awhile, but in 2021 I got another show prospect and with the help of a friend as I was raising our first child, finished her AKC championship. I am so excited to start my own program, bringing healthy and happy dogs that not only make great companions, but also meet the breed standard. I am excited to continue to show and raise one of the best breeds there is!
