RUSTIC BARN DESIGNS

I live in a small town in Iowa and have a passion for refinishing and repurposing things! My husband Brandon and I recently got married and bought an acreage that needs some major updates and I wanted to share them with all of you who may be going through the same thing.

Three years ago my husband and I bought our first house which also needed some major updates. We decided we wanted to tackle as many things as we could ourselves.. and we did just that! New floors, trim, doors, paint, taking out walls, etc. We did it almost all ourselves! Now we have decided to become landlords and are renting that house out with a plan to do it again in the future!

I also love to refinish and repurpose furniture. I am so thankful for a husband who is handy, as he almost always helps me with my crazy ideas. We have 5 dogs a horse and some various types of poultry and we are constantly working on some sort of project!
